‘Veil’ released (oct 26)
The single from my forthcoming album Ones Twos and Threes has just been released alongside a new video I have created and an article in the Strad. Its is performed with huge grace and sensitivity by the amazing cellist Natalie Rozario, a long-time collaborator (and who plays on the MooV album Here). The score of Veil is available from my publisher Composers Edition.

FEATURED COMPOSER AT LAKE DISTRICT MUSIC SPRING SERIES (Sept 26)
I am really pleased that I will be creating four new works; Unfurling (Nadedja Quartet), Tickety-Boo (Nasia Quartet), The Hole Story (Taillferre Ensemble) and Strum (Volt Guitar Duo). These piece will be scattered through this chamber music series taking place in Kendal, Cumbria January-April 2027. A huge thanks to Steve Threlfall for inviting me to do this.
LATITUDE FESTIVAL (July 26)
It was great fun to play Latitude Festival on Friday 24th July with special guest Dr Helen Cerzki. Huge thanks to the Cosmic Shambles for hosting us.

FiNISHING TOUCHES TO CHAMBER MUSIC ALBUM (MAY 26)
At the moment I’m focussing on finishing recording a collection of chamber pieces for my new album - Ones Twos and Threes - to be released in October (funded by the PRS Foundation, the Hinrichsen Foundation and the Vaughan Williams Foundation). A huge thanks to them for making this happen! These are solos, duos and trios composed over the last five years. It’s a real mixture of pieces, but all ones I’m very proud of, and I think represent what I do as a composer. I’m also making five vlogs about the creative process and these are being released via Music Patron. Do check out Music Patron. It’s a create was to support composers.
OCEAN SoNGS released (March 26)
Live at dawn on Lowestoft Beach (June 21st 2025)
Ocean Songs blends electronica, ambient, classical, jazz, and folk. The songs explore our relationship with the ocean; whales, mythology, climate, and environmental protections. It was really great to co-write with Lottie P (Goat Girl) on many of the songs, as well as a great band with Nic Pendelbury (viola) and Steve Pretty (trumpet). Extra special was the opportunity to collaborate with scientist Helen Czerski around her book Blue Machine and with environmentalist George Monbiot. The whole album was played live at our album Launch on TheatreShip, London on 24th March. We have also just heard that we’ll play Latitude Festival on Friday 24th July. Great news!
