We blur all the edges of contemporary music mixing in state-of-the-art visual
presentations and an essential amount of improvisation. Subdued lyricism and subtle, unpredictable melodies combine with electronic tintinnabulation and spare, yet complex instrumental soundscapes.
Performances are based around a wide breadth of material ranging from intimate songs and instrumental compositions to visual and installation work.
MooV has worked recently with the internationally renowned singer Claron McFadden and theatre director Toby Wilsher appearing at London’s Riverside Studios producing 2 large-scale pieces, ‘on the sheltering bars’ and ‘science fictions’.
MooV is currently developing extended compositions fusing video and live vj work with sonic treatments, plus creating a set of songs for a new album in 2007. They premiered some of this new material at their recent concert in March at the Spitz, London.
